I love the fact that they don't even try to make it look like Joe Jackson was barely able to sign his name. Those are nice, bold sigs. LOL

Well, at least within the last week.

From what I understand, Lee Trythall and Scott Malack still conduct private signings with Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Joe Jackson, Christy Mathewson, etc.

It's sad that some unsuspecting people will spend $200 on a Ruth ball and think it's real. I would jump on the Jackson ball though, looks legit

Chris,
I'd appreciate if you would let me know the next time they have Addie Joss in to do a private signing. He's the last T206'er I need to complete an autographed version of The Monster.

I was so happy when they had Eddie Plank in last year as I thought I'd never get his autograph, nevermind the fact that they threw in the 206 FOR FREE!!!

Since the government doesn't want to do anything to shut these idiots down maybe we all oughta pool our money together and hire a private investigator to see if they can find out where the stuff is coming from. It's the same scenario as back in the late 90s when the Marino gang was signing all their stuff at a kitchen table got to be the same type of set up with the crap that the commode is getting in on a daily basis. Find the guy signing the stuff and maybe he would all snowball from there

I think I remember seeing them having some signed baseballs of Mother Teresa over the years. Guess I missed her when she was at the national that year.

Their ( C C 'S ) latest private signing next month is with Noah signing Limited Edition wood pieces from the Ark authenticated by Morales and a LOA from Noah himself with pictures from the signing. He will personalize pieces for 20 sheckels extra to include inscriptions :
1. 40 days of rain ...I survived
2. 2 of each animal was no easy task
3. Mt . Ararat is beautiful after it rains.

This was done in humor NOT to offend anyone except maybe C C !

Seriously what is amazing is that they have stayed in business for so long . I don't look at their auctions anymore because they have so much crap in them it is funny , but many many years ago ( 1990s) they did mix in authentic material with their forgeries . Now it seems everything is bad .

Nope. Was IP heading into a church and he was rushed so just ran with a black sharpie. I tell you those Archangel handlers can be tough on the crowd.

Thanks, but in all reality, would anyone be surprised anymore by what they list for auction? Signed edition of Canterbury Tales. William Wallace inscribed "Freedom" , Genghis Khan signed bow, John Smith and Pocahontas dual signed teepee fabric, Lewis and Clark map dual signed and inscribed "Thank God for Sacagawea, " perhaps a Julius Caesar inscribed bloody robe "Et Tu Brutus," or lastly a signed Adams, Franklin, and Jefferson Declaration of Independence draft inscribed "F King George".

It has gotten stupid to the point of ridiculousness and law enforcement just does not seem to care.

A member of Net54, not me, not Chris, not Shelly, worked long and hard with a postal inspector in PA trying to develop a case. To no avail.
Sometimes I wonder what it takes to nail some of these guys.
Though there have been successful prosecutions of many, there are so many more who still get away with it with impunity.

If anyone has an authentic GOD autographed baseball inscribed "I'm sorry I bet on Pete Rose", I'd be interested in buying it or possibly trading for it.
