Finally knocked a Ted Williams off my 1954 Topps set wantlist.

This is about the condition I can afford for the bigger cards in the set unfortunately. But I don't mind at this point.

Thanks,

AndyH

That to me is a fantastic set. I still say that the Aaron and Banks rookies are some of the best deals in 50's Topps cards.

I like it, Andy. In 1954, I would have cut grass with a reel mower for a month to have that card.

Kind of a cheapie. But one I've been looking a while for...Not that I've looked very hard, but every time I have looked, there's typically none listed on the bay.. Probably one of the most racist cards ever made, but it's a good mention for Jackie and the Walker brothers..

Default '55 Bowman

I am on the verge of starting a '55 Bowman BB set. A few common pickups, nothing that special but love the wood grain borders...

I haven't checked back in a while and missed all the nice comments about my 54 Topps Williams. Thanks a lot guys! I've been slowly (very slowly ) working on the set over the last decade and have a decent amount of the keys already. These aren't new pick ups but are a couple more from my set.

Thanks again for the nice comments!

Best,

AndyH

Here's my big purchase for the year. I'm contemplating sending it to PSA for registry set I'd like to build, but do you think it'll cross? It's hard to tell, but based on the corners, I think this one is on the fence...on a bad day could get 4.5, on a good day, might get 5.5 based on the color and centering...your thoughts?

Default For the Boyer PC and team sets...

Received a small sub back from New Jersey this week.

I just noticed that the 1964 Wheaties and the 1961 Bazooka have the same photo! How weird...
