"Payment will be Wire Transfer or Cashiers Check"

That in itself will get it booted from eBay.

What do you mean "letter isn't even fully visible"? It shows the whole letter. And didn't Spence start PSA? So early letters from them should have his sig.

It doesn't show what the item was, etc on the letter. To me, it looks lousy, but Im no expert. The Ball, that is.

The fact that the full letter isn't shown, in addition to looking the way it does, should scare anyone away. The payment terms are the icing on the cake.

If you scroll the pictures over with the blue arrow button, you will see that there is an additional picture of the full letter.

Autograph is real and letter is real. As stated before Jimmy Spence used to be an employee for PSA.

I now see the letter on there. But I still find the payment terms to be suspicious.

Default Ruth ball

Not one to shin kick James Spence, because he (and his team have provided me with excellent customer service in the past good/bad/indifferent)... But I will say that I am with the ghost on this one... I haven't seen to many Babe's where the two "b's" in the first name are equal in size and stature... its also the first time I have come across a ruth with this type of "e" in Babe... I own a ruth but have been shopping and examining for the last two years and this is the first of its kind that i have seen (you can chalk it up to my autograph collecting immaturity). I also feel uncomfortable with the spacing between babe and ruth....

but for what its worth I like the "f's" in the inscription...

all that said, I am not a buyer of this ball at a bargain price...

Completely agree with Dave. I'm not an expert, but I own a couple Ruth auto's and have been in the market a while. Dave brought up some valid concerns, biggest of which is the "e". Haven't seen one like it.

Here's another example of the lower case "e"...but as you can see, it's considerably different....and don't believe this one's good either.

Well, it MAY be good, but I wouldn't buy it, because, as Dave said, the letter formation on the E amongst other things. Plus, its all "run together", so to speak, and doesn't have that super nice flow I've seen on Babe.

If I won the lottery and could get a Babe, Id buy one that was MORE EYE APPEALING to me.
