I hated the concept and bad mouthed it for a few years. . . .and now I am totally hooked. It has been awesome this year. Interesting seeing players from different teams play together. I never though this would become a real thing in the US but it has been a lot of fun this year. A lot better than moronic spring training games that are just opportunities for people to stretch their legs. If you love the game you should watch.

I have enjoyed the WBC in the past but have to agree that this go around has been very good. Go team USA!

I love the WBC. I wish they did this in the middle of every season instead of the All Star game.

Been rooting for USA and Puerto Rico, but I'm leaning really heavy on PR

I've always loved the WBC. As Steve said, it beats the hell out of watching preseason games.

I just wish that the best Americans played. An line-up of these guys would be fun:

c- Posey
1b- Rizzo
2b- Pedroia
ss- Russell
3b- Donaldson
rf- Harper
cf-Trout
lf- Bryant
dh- Stanton
p- Kershaw, Bumgarner, Scherzer, Greinke, Verlander
rp- Kimbral, Davis

I saw a few games in '09 and '13, went pretty much all in this year- 6 games in the next week, including the final.
After over 4 months of no baseball it's nice to jump into post season intensity right away.

I love it too. I live in Japan and everyone is going nuts here seeing them win 5 in a row. Just watching them play Israel as I type this...
