Jeff- once again you said exactly what I was going to say- look at the great photo of Jimmie Foxx with that little dog.

It would be cool to see some 1936 Yankee spring training photos and see that kid they brought in from San Francisco that everyone was talking about. What was his name again?

That doggy's name is Pat. I got all this stuff from a scrapbook off of ebay years back. I believe that the girl and man in the first photo were associated with the team or the man was a reporter traveling with the team and brought his daughter with him to Spring Training.

It sure looks like a Boston Terrier....you can see the little pup in 3 or 4 of the photos.

As far as the Foxx photo goes this photo is one of the earliest photos of Foxx in a Boston uniform since his first year with the Sox was 1936 and this photo was taken at Spring Training.

definitely a boston terrier. I'm a vet, and I have one. They are great little dogs.
