What Percentage of the 18,000+ MLB Players are represented in Your Collection?
I do not expect anyone to have an exact figure, just take a stab at it.
My collection includes complete Topps sets 1954-1980 which comes to 15,993 total cards - and I would guess less than a tenth would represent different players - say 1,550 - plus another 450 or so I have from other sets would come to only 2,000. I could 'cheat' a little and include cards from the 1991 & 1992 Conlon sets I just purchased, but that would only bring it up another 100 or so. I got a feel there is someone out there who has a lot more represented than I do.
