Default Odd vintage trade card - questions

Posted By: Alan Elefson

Hi-
I recently acquired the "trade card" piece scanned below and I was wondering if any one might be able to answer a few questions for me. The piece is comprised of six baseball players (different positions labelled on the backs) from Dr. D. Jayne and Son that were supposed to be cut and folded into standups. Each player has a small advertisement for one of Dr. D. Jayne's various elixirs on the reverse, and the entire piece appears to be titled "Jayne's Baseball Folder No. 2". Here are my questions.
1. Approximately when was this piece produced?
2. How many baseball folders were produced? Can anyone show scans of others?
3. Does anyone have a cut one that they could share the scan of?
Any additional information about this piece would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Alan Elefson
