Default What was the last year Topps produced their cards in series?

Or what was the first year they didnt produce cards in series?

Either answer will suffice!

Thanks!

There have been lengthy discussions about this and if I knew how to find the thread I would. Apparently 1973 was the last year with Topps releasing in series in some parts of the country and all as one series in other parts. From what I recall a few members are quite passionate about this subject.

I guess that makes sense. I've seen threads like "What is the last vintage year?" or something like that and while answers differ, 1973 seems to be the most common answer.
Thanks!

In some parts of the county 73 Topps was released in five series. In some parts they were released in one series.
