Great card and tough to find anything signed by this guy. Don't fight it out on a Goudey, here the next best thing and probably tougher.

Exceedingly rare autographed Fleer Baseball Greats card #71 of Eppa Rixey. The Hall of Fame hurler has signed the card in blue ink (grading "7") across his image. As anyone who has ever attempted to put together an autographed set of 1961 Fleer cards knows, Rixey is one of the key rarities to the assembly of a collection of all possible signed 1961 Fleer Baseball Greats cards. The reason for that is timing. Rixey passed away on February 28, 1963, leaving autograph collectors with less than a two-year window of opportunity to obtain his signature on the card. This is the first example we have ever offered, and one of the few we have ever seen. The card displays two ink notations on the reverse and is otherwise in Excellent condition.
