Default What makes these 2 cards worth 25% different?

Okay. I need a reality check.

Here is card #1:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Topps-....m43663.l10137

Sold for $709 on July 31st

Here is card #2:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Topps-....m43663.l10137

Sold for $566 on August 15th.

Can someone please point out to me what is "better" about the $709 card. Thank you.

Howard

I got this one (jumped on it actually, as there were something like 14 watchers) two weeks ago for a $440 BIN (used an ebay discount to get it even cheaper), so based on what you're showing, it's looking even more and more like the huge steal I thought it was to begin with...

The obvious answer is centering.

also, black print dot below the ear on the cheaper example (still not a bad card, though).

You did very well IMO. That's a beauty and a very low price.

There doesn't have to be anything different about the card. It may just be a mix of different bidders or a whim. Not everything about card sales has to make sense. To me, both looked about 44/55 to the naked eye.
Baseball card sales don't happen in a vacuum.
