Default 1933 Ruth Question

I'd like to pick up a 33 Goudey #144 or #149 Ruth. What can I expect to pay? I'd be looking for something without major creases or missing surface area of card. Something well worn but with good eye appeal...

I don't mind being patient to find one at a decent #, just trying to understand at what price I maybe should jump at if I find one.

Not a lot of complete listings info on ebay, but I do see a #149 in PSA 2 condition that sold for $1100. That condition would work for me.

Thanks.

$1000 is about average for a lower grade card that still has some nice eye appeal

Even though the #144 is very popular and the most attractive IMO of the 4 in the set.... There are twice as many of the #144 cards compared to the #149 card. ....#144 was double printed (2 per sheet) and is thought to be the most common PreWar card in existence.
