Default What a miscut!

I really love that this seller is calling this Mantle a "miscut" and says BVG graded it a 2. If this is a 2, then I'm going to send ALL of my cards to BVG!

Auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/1951-Bowman-Mick...item2eb426353e

Looks like somebody cut it down to put with their '50 Bowmans.. Gotta love that cheesy little white "2.0" sticker that the seller attached to the raw BVG sticker.. Assuming it's even a BVG Raw sticker, I can't really see it all that well in the photo.

It is possible that it was graded "A" and the ink removed and "2.0" written in it's place.

I've heard of people wiping the ink off certified autos and rewriting another player's name, so it stands to reason that the ink on Beckett's stickers could be erased as well.

The price really isn't all that bad for the team set though. If I had a grand to spare, I would be tempted to make an offer. Of course, I'm a bottom feeder, the Mantle would be good enough for my collection, and the Ford would actually be an upgrade, as I believe I may be in possession of the worst possible Ford ever...

Could be worse. I've got a '54 Bowman Ted Williams that somebody cut down to the size of a '50 Bowman.

I've got only the skinned back half of the '54 Bowman Ted. It checks out as authentic, so to me, it's good enough for now.
