Default Some Cards that are A Part of My Collection

I figured I would post some photo's of some of my collection. The first set is of a 1948 Kiner Beckett 8.5 Bowman Rookie and a 1949 Rizzuto Bowman SGC 88 2nd year. They are some cards that were acquired earlier this year. While the 1960's Topps Pitcher Rookie Stars have been apart of my collection for a while. Here is a couple photo's of some of my collection.

Best Regards
Jeremy A. Rich

Welcome to the boards; looks like you're a high end collector. Nice HOF rookies that are a part of your collection.

Thanks. I am more of a collector of high end Hall of Famer cards especially rookies.

Good Stuff!

Thanks for sharing

Thanks. They are a great group of cards. That Ryan/Koosman card in a higher graded was somewhat of a mile stone for me to acquire. That card is just a great card.

Thanks for the welcome! These are greater cards because they have the future stars from the Hall of Famers rookie years. They allow a youngster such as me to have a look at who was considered a prospect during the days of a Ryan, Carlton or Seaver. They are a greater group of cards because of that. Koosman had a good 18 year career in the majors. Neat deal.

I have also got the rookie stars of Ron Cey and John Hilton, Sonny Jackson and Hank Allen cards all in good grade. They are another great group as well.

Best Regards
Jeremy A. Rich

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Welcome to the forum. Great looking rookie HOF'ers. That was my first toe in the water of vintage. Then they became too pedestrian and I ventured back to pre-world war II. Enjoy your stay and it is always Caveat Emptor on the BST pages here, so please be careful. Anyone can always PM me or another moderator to help vet out a trading partner. Be smart on this forum and you will never get taken by a scammer on a deal. A deal may not go great but it won't be someone swooping in, while unknown, taking your money/card and running. Happy Collecting!!

Then I have got to show some of my 100 year old cardboard especially one of my T205's. This next group came from the same find a couple years ago. They were not as high of a grade for these Hall of Famer's as I would prefer. However being over 100 years old for the T205 and T206 makes up for a lower grade. Eventually I want to upgrade.

Best Regards
Jeremy A. Rich

That card grades high in many other ways than the grade that is on that card grading container. Some other ungraded highs are that card is printed on plus 100 year old cardboard and actually has gold leaf boarder.
