Default A couple Orioles autos

I've never bought an auto before, only have received them in person. So while these aren't expensive I would like some help making sure they're real before I buy them.

First is Nick Markakis:

Adam Jones:

And Jason Hammel:

Thanks for your help!

I don't know if they are good or not. But presuming they are, unless they are really inexpensive I'd avoid signatures on a China ball.

Why is that? And what would be a fair price?

Most collectors prefer Rawling Official Major League baseballs. These balls cost $15 - $18 each unsigned.

Balls with the China stamp are usually synthetic cover "Official League" balls that sell for about $3 at Walmart. They sell at a steep discount compared to the Official Major League baseballs. And sometimes the synthetic covers causes the ink to bleed or feather over time.

I will just repeat what others have already said. Just stay away from the China baseballs. The signatures rarely hold up over time and collectors will generally shy away from them at all costs once they realize there is a reason the China baseballs cost $3 and collectors will almost always go to the $15-$18 ROMLB.

Hm, I'm not really buying these as an investment. Just something I want as they're some of my favorite players. He said he could do $30 for both balls, would that be worth buying?

I don't know if they are authentic or not, but if they are... $30 for something that makes you happy... Sounds like a good investment. Go for it.

I ended up taking your advice and got a good deal on Markakis and Jones on MLB balls. (Seems like people here know what they're talking about) I got the Hammel ball thrown in for $10 so I figured it would be cool to have just as an O's fan.

I edited the original post to reflect the balls I'm purchasing but the seller has thousands of positive feedback and guarantees authenticity or money back. Plus to my very untrained eye they look identical to other autos.

That's a nice authentic Jones. He signs that way because of his contract, he will only sign sweetspot if it's personalized, and he does it off to the side like that.
