Was there ever at any point a proffesional team in Norwich CT? Curious if any such player cards exist from 1880's-1920. Thanks

Pretty sure there was in a team in the Connecticut League along with Springfield(MA)during the period 1905 to 1911. All of my reference materials are at home so I'll check it out and post later. Got another "lead" for me?

Yep, they won the Connecticut League championship in 1900 and 1906. I believe it was a short lived team though as they were no longer in the leage in 1910.

This is the years that Norwich played in the Connecticut league:

Norwich Witches 1899-1901
Norwich Reds 1902-1903
Norwich Reds 1904-1907

I don't have any rosters for any of the teams so I can't answer your question as to any cards of any of the players.
