It's been a frustrating month of dealing with USPS, but this one finally found its way home.
Instead of going straight from Indiana to New York, package was first missent to Colorado, and then flew all the way from California to NY, to finally be shipped out to Europe.

Some national highlights.....
Got my recently picked up 52T Mathews graded....pretty okay with the grade.....not as nice as Bob's pickup a few posts back.....

53T mantle graded. Was hoping for a 3 but there's a rub and dimpled writing on the front...upgrade candidate for later.....

Some 1953T pickups to get me closer to that set......

Nice Sain with Page back error......

Couple of 52T upgrades for my set....

And a 52T Reese from ebay......

Tom - nice work on those '52s.
How many high numbers are you lacking to complete the entire set?
I am just sticking with the low numbers (for now at least) and have about 60 to go.

Thanks for the nice words on 52's. Think I'm up to 40-42 now. Also got three more that I didn't post. Tough to find them centered and uncreased without being graded. Not opposed to grading but it generally adds $50-$75 to an EX high number. Understand though. Will have to save up a long while for the Mantle though.

And the 3rd of 3 new Dodgers acquisitions this week. I apologize for the separate posts and the large scans. I'm trying to figure out how best to post pics on my Mac vs my old PC.

Finally found a 57T Mantle upgrade to my PC. I have been patiently searching for one and this one fit the bill! I think I'm in love!

Nice Card! I sent a PM and might be interested in the one you upgraded from if it's for sale.

Finally found an affordable one ! I picked this up in July, but just got it back from PSA. It's actually the first card that I have ever had PSA grade. I still have over 100 Aaron's at PSA, but it will be a while before I get them - the monthly specials have a LONG wait time. Slowly getting my Aaron 54-76 run done. 2015 has been a really good year. I've managed to acquire the Bill & Bob's postcard, Home Run Derby, and Punchout Aaron cards, along with a lot of more common cards.

It has been a goal of mine for at least 25 years to someday own a Ruth, a Gehrig, and a DiMaggio. I can finally check one of these off my list.

not sure what a 52 mantle signed for would be these days and kinda scared to find out considering the recent and sudden price spikes...I passed on a blue flipped beater about 2 years ago for 10K and it's looking like it was a mistake.

i do have a 83' one singed. figured that'd hold me over til that magical day comes. plenty of 91 nationals around, but the 83 is slightly harder and it was an actual topps produced card, has the original back and i like that it's even slightly oc which mirrors the original :

Default 52 Mantle

So excited to get this one today! Definitely a holy grail for me.

A special thanks to chris (pawpawdiv9) for emailing me the listing. I would have never seen it otherwise.

I've got it in hand, but can't get my scanner to work right. That picture actually looks better than what I took on my phone. It looks better in person than in the scans, despite the grade.

Congrats on such a beautiful card! I don't know how Chris (PawPaw) does it, but he has a way of tracking down gems for people

I do what i can do here, when i'm just waiting for a item and saving some money. I only have a few items on my radar, so it allows me free time to looks at other items and some times i do find things that other people need or offer advice on a card.
Overall i am pleased to help you both Pokerplr and Bestdj777 on those gems you added recently. In return, i was given a lead from e107collector on a card. Good Karma.Net54 is a great place.

Picked this up at a local flea market. Not in the best of shape but at $22.00 I thought it was a good deal.

Default Schmidt PR Sticker and 69 Topps

Picked up this Mantle to hold me over until I can find a nice centered PSA 8 with no tilt. Also, just received the Schmidt PR Sticker.

First off, love that Schmidt sticker. Not one you see every day, let alone with that centering.

Been a busy couple weeks on the card front Many of these strike me as under graded-- so much so I might actually wind up running a few of them through the system again one day down the line.

Wildly stoked about some of the nuances to this crop, from there being no dot on the 67 to the lack of PD and blurriness on the 60, to the centering of the 53B and 65T, to the mitigated tilt on the 69. Very, very happy
