Default 1968 Topps Deckle Edge Proof (not checklisted) Boog Powell

Today at our monthly card show I picked up a stack of 35 low grade 1969 Topps Deckle Edge cards ($4) without even looking at them. When I got home I started to put them in number order, and came across this Boog Powell card. Blank back, autographed in black, slightly smaller size, darker card stock.

After checking the Standard Catalog, I thought it might be a 1968 Topps Deckle Edge Proof card, but Boog is not listed in the nine card proof set? It also says these are usually found in an uncut sheet of nine cards, but this single Boog card has the Deckle edge. Also, this picture was used for Boogs card in the 1969 Deckle Edge set #2 card.

Help?

It's an O-Pee-Chee deckle from 1969.

LOL thanks John!

How a rare $1,000 card can turn into a ten cent card in less than a minute!

I'm an idiot!

BUT stand by for another one...............

blue ink

black ink...Note all 3 have same players but in different positions to some extent. Yastremski is only one on proof sheets to make set

Default 1968 Deckle

Another way to tell it is the OPC version is the "pin prick" by his right ear...also visible on the reverse. The mark is from the printing press. The sheets were pulled off the press by poking the sheets to move them...MANY of the OPC versions have these marks on them and they are much harder to get high grades for this reason.
