Not quite the usual framing I've been up to lately, but another neat project.

Don't worry, there will be no direct sunlight on these babies.

It would be cool to see an entire T206 set displayed on wall like that.

Thank you, Denny! I appreciate the kind words.

Dan, it would be killer to have a complete set on display! I need a complete set first.

Trae,
Very nice work. I especially like the T206 enlarged portraits you had framed. I've been trying to locate something similar on ebay but have had no luck. Do you have the ebay ID of someone who sells those or somewhere else online that might?

Mike

is that wood casing homemade?
what materials and how heavy?
looks like the use of a plexiglass half-shelf-tray, rather than a glass front?
You'd have to line your walls with another 17 of those for a complete set, so start clearing the space!

Jason, Hutch, thanks!

Hutch, eBay seller ket63423 had the enlarged canvas cards up for sale. I see them re-listed every now and again... but not much recently. I guess sales died down. The images they print on canvas can all be found at extremely high resolution in the library of congress baseball card library:
LOC T206 Set Viewer

So, at worst you can take the didgtal files to a printer and have them printed on canvas or high quality paper to be framed. I would be happy to send you the framing dimensions for your mat and frame as well.

Jason, I purchased the display case on eBay from pennzoni-display - however I wouldn't feel right pointing you to them without saying that in my opinion there is room for improvement with the cases. I am satisfied with it, but not thrilled. It took a little extra work on my part to get it to "behave" how I wanted. The rows are 2" wider then the 6 PSA cards it's advertised to hold... so they slide back and forth across the rows. I had to make 1inch inserts to go on each end to keep things in place.

Great idea Trae. Thanks for the link. I would definitely be interested in knowing the dimensions whenever you get a chance.

Thanks again,
Mike

Dylan, cool! Would enjoy seeing it when it's complete.

Jack, anyone who enjoys collecting hot lead in their rear-end is welcome to stop by.
