Default Auction House items pulled last day???

Was following an item on the REA auction that’s about to finish and saw it disappear off the items for bid. It was going for $3900 before extended bidding, but maybe the seller pulled it because it wasn’t going to fetch what they wanted?? Curious if this happens a fair amount on the last day if an item is doing less than expected.

Maybe just a glitch?

Sellers cant just magically pull items as the clock strikes 9pm.

Maybe they realized there was something wrong with the listing, and were just informed about it at the last minute?

Or maybe someone questioned the authenticity of the item?

Or maybe it’s on a list somewhere of known doctored cards…

Another member gave me the inside scoop. Questionable authenticity. Thanks!

That was my initial thought. Auction houses don't want to be seen pulling too many auctions like that, so they are rare, but I have seen it before.

In the recent scandal days it happened a fair number of times when items were outed.
