I have to wonder what on earth gave these people the idea that they were even capable of running an auction? From the scans that sucked - when the images even existed, to the lame descriptions, to the lack of communication, to the shitty software, the bullshit address in a shared “WeWork” office space, to the hush hush we can’t explain what went wrong with the bidding on your lot on a public chat board, to the inability to invoice properly and failure to ship timely, what led them to believe that they were remotely competent to do this other than the self-proclaimed “elite” and “prominent” adjectives they bestowed upon themselves? I feel bad for Aaron who seems to be a decent guy but Jesus Christ what a debacle this is.

Don't forget the inability/refusal to assign meaningful grades to cards, despite the professed expertise.

I think that's always my favorite.

'We're experts with decades of experience in the industry'

'Well we're not graders'
