Thanks Dan!
I thought the same thing when I first saw it, and couldn't believe it was Spanish back Venezuelan. But it was and I gulped and snatched it up as quick as I could

I second DBesse, that card is amazing!!!! You don't have to answer, but what did you pay for that? I know it had to be a lot.

Paid a penny under $4K.
It listed on ebay and I happened to be searching at the moment for new listings. Made an offer right away, waited. The page fews mounted. Then a few minutes later decided to pull the trigger on the ask.
My guess is that I would get my money back if I ever decided to sell it. What do you guys think?

I doubt you'll ever want to part with it such that it is a moot point .

For these types of cards, I've always found it is very difficult to predict price. If you listed it again, you could take a huge loss on it or do really well. The lack of steady demand for oddball items really leads to some fluctuations. Ylu may have been the only one looking for that card at the time, but who knows who will be looking if you ever need to part with it? One registry guy and you've got a substantially more valuable card. I know, if I collected Mays, I would have had a difficult time not pulling the trigger at that price, particularly as poor versions of other players being around that price.

HI Brian,

I'll give you every penny you paid in a heartbeat. I saw it in the sold listings! Incredible card and off the charts in that condition. Happier to know was you who got it. Great buy!

Personally I think it was well worth the money spent. Haven't seen many as nice as the Mays. I think it would have likely sold at that price to someone else if you didn't acquire it first. Congrats on the pickup!

If I were a betting man, I'd say you'd get more than what you paid if you considered selling it right now.

Wasn't there some low number 67 card which less than 5 copies exist. IIRC, didn't Olbermann pay a ton of money for that card I'm referring to
