Guys,

I'm not going to scan my T-206 Walter Johnson Portrait while at work, but I'm just curious as to how many Net54 members have one. I don't have the pitching pose.

How many people have both or either one. I think the pitching pose is significantly more difficult than the portrait.
I have one of each.

Both beaters. Pitching was a 10th anniversary gift from my wife (nine years ago), made an "illegal" deal off eBay for the portrait about seven years ago.

I have the "hands at chest" model, PSA 5.

I have been looking for a nice PSA 5 or better Portrait - never picked one up back when they were little over $1k - now about $2k, jeez.

I only collect/follow graded EX or better so I don't know about lower grades, but for a while I saw more "hands at chest's" - thought they were easier. But lately, I see more Portraits. I kinda think the Portrait is now very high relative to the other, so more folks selling the Portrait.

Steve.

We're getting close to the Matty Dark Cap. Even though this thread started a day and a half later the Johnson portrait is now within 5 of the Matty. There are roughly half as many Johnson hands at chest. In a couple more days we should catch up.

I've both.

Hands at chest in poor/fair

Portrait, one of my 5 graded cards. Graded a SGC 10. Except for paper loss on back I'd call it VG.

Now there's 36 Portraits and 22 Hands on Chest. Is there any other T206 more commonly owned by Net54 members.
