Default New Memorabilia Room (mostly autos)

Thought I'd put this on the auto forum, since most of my room is post-war autographs. Just finished my basement, and my wonderful wife let me make it my mem. room. I'm about 90% done. My father-in-law helped me build the lockers.

Since I don't know how to put words by each picture, here is the scoop:
The hanging wall case came from an old school (I'm a teacher, so it fits). It's filled with WWII Service Team photos and programs.
The "ball wall" is 3 deep, for the most part. Negro Leaguers, WWII/MLB players, HOFers, Game Used baseballs, and general interesting players.
The bats are gamers: under the home plate displays are HOFers, pretty much all the recent guys.
I left the beam exposed to display baseballs. The front ones are handpainted and signed, the back of the beam is NLers.
Still undecided about the wall space by the lockers.

Ken
PS: Did I mention my wife is wonderful??

Ken, your room is outstanding. Really really well done and well thought out. It does help to have a wonderful wife...I know because mine is taking her day off today and helping me with the finish work and touch up on my memorabila room crown molding.

All it's missing is a big comfy chair and a radio to listen to the ball game on. Great room and really well done!!!

Beautiful and well organized. It has a clean, uncluttered look for a sports room, even though there's a ton of stuff. Well done!!

Thanks, all! The above is exactly what the wife was going for. I buy the stuff, she makes it look good.

This room is in the basement, under our new addition. It's 16x20.

Ken, Very nicely done! And impressive use of restraint in achieving the open, uncluttered look, something I fear would never last long in my house no matter how large the addition. Much like a gas, I'm one of those collectors who will find a way to spread and expand to fill every part of my "container" (currently defined by my wife as my office and adjacent garage). If I added a room that size, I fear it would suffer the same fate
