Default $300K of comic books stolen

Be careful with your collections fellas and be wise who you talk to about them.
Imo, these guys knew exactly what they were after.

What a shame. Hopefully the thieves screw up trying to sell them and get caught.

When you are a dealer (like this guy was), then a lot of people will find out about the things you have.

Not a lot of specific info in the linked article, but I think Jake is right to be suspicious on this one. Two separate thefts in a week. And after losing 50k in a home robbery he left 250k worth of books in a box in a warehouse? Insurance fraud seems more likely than really bad luck.

I agree, but to disclose where you live, unless they followed him, and to also find out his warehouse info seems like a little bit too much info might have been shared?

It's hard to say exactly what is going on? Could be insurance fraud or it could be legit, who knows?

If I hear any updates I will be sure to post it here.
