Default Need some help gentleman on an unreal Mantle piece

Have an opportunity to pick these pieces up and am wondering if anyone is familiar with this sort of thing if real or not
This is a contract signed by Mantle and his father in 1949


This a letter he wrote to his wife signed on the back Love Mick

If that contract is real, it would be worth a fortune. I am quite sure a number of reproductions of that contract have circulated in the market. I do not think the one you've pictured is the original.

The contract sold in 2003 at Guernesey's, I believe.

I wouldn't consider buying something like that without airtight provenance.

I agree with Bill. I'd consider posting this in the autograph side as someone there may be familiar with the history of the one that sold at auction.

He told me last night his dad bought a ton of cases of books at an estate sale in 1968 and inside the books were these papers inside of rice paper. I'm going to lean towards he's a story teller then
