Another Great
Roy "Shrimp" Worters is one of two goalies that had more shutouts than losses in the NHL The other is George Hainsworth but he played on the powerful Montreal Canadian team. Worters Played for the New York Americans which were awful to say the least. Worters is also the first goalie to win the Hart and Vezina trophey (in separate years). He stood 5'3" tall but was fearless. His famous quote is "Blood is no reason to leave the net". This is his group one (1933-43) Beehive photo. I have hundreds of vintage hockey cards and photos and always looking to trade. Drop me a line.
