Hello All,

Elliot gave the OK to start a new Buy/Sell/Trade thread on today's date. Since nobody else has began one, I will. I am still working on my T206 set. At this time, I am focusing more on the Southern League Players so any one with some SLer's for sell or trade, please contact me. I would also be interested in any Chicago Cubs player cards as well. And of course, the Ed Reulbach (Glove Showing) card. All of these cards (other than the Reulbach), I would like to be in VG-EX to EX-MT condition. The Reulbach I will take in any grade. I have also decided to begin a T207 set as well. Since I am just beginning, I need just about everybody. These cards I would like to be in the VG-EX range or SGC 40. If you have any of these cards please contact me as well. Below I have included a list of my most wanted T207's.....

1912 T207 Buck Weaver
1912 T207 Smoky Joe Wood
1912 T207 Vic Saier

I believe Myron "Moose" Grimshaw only had two cards (maybe someone can verify this) a T206 and a Colgan Chips... I have the T206 with all various backs - looking for a Colgan... Condition does not matter at all. Grimshaw is a local player and just trying to get a run of his cards! If ya got one, email me a price and we can go from there! Thanks ya'll!

Thanks,

I'm still breaking up 1/2 a Mayo set, along with some other items I have for sale at:

http://www.angelfire.com/nb/jms/sale.html

(just updated yesterday)

As usual, I can give discounts for purchases of multiple cards.

I'm not in much of a buying mood these days, but I am always looking for extremely low grade (trimmed/skinned/rebacked/otherwise defaced all okay) 19th century material, especially Old Judge and Anson items.

And since it's shameless solicitation, it's at home here: New York-area board members may be interested in a few upcoming shows I am doing with my jazz orchestra, May 31, June 1 and June 3 in Manhattan, http://www.jeffsackmann.com or e-mail me for more details. One VCBBFer has already witnessed the splendor of it all--who's next?

Thanks!

Mostly interested in cabinet photos, real photo postcards, etc. Main focus lately has been on Fall River team, RPPC's seem to be more common then cabinets and less expensive, so I'm really eager to pick up some of those.

Particularly interested in following teams/players:

FALL RIVER INDIANS, 1893-1898, 1902-1910

Brockton Shoemakers 1893-1899
Lewiston 1891-1896, 1901
Taunton Herrings 1897-1899
New Bedford Browns 1896
New Bedford Whalers 1895-1903
Newport Colts 1897-1899
Worcester Grays 1888
All Pawtucket teams/players(Colts,Maroons,Phenoms,Tigers)1892-1898
All Lowell teams/players(Browns,Chippies,Lowells,Reds)1887-1893
All Salem teams/players(Fairies, Witches)1887-1888
All Manchester Teams

I've picked up Keith's 1896 Official Guide on the New England League and three Fall River cabinets but
I'm not entirely sure of the extent of New England League Memorabilia, so if anyone has anything other then photos or postcards, Please e-mail me as I probably will be interested in other items as well.

Thanks,
Adam

Just a reminder, this thread is strictly for posting B/S/T and you also need to have your email linked to your name or in the post. If you have a question or offer for someone, please email. This thread gets big enough without all the extraneous stuff that could be handled outside the thread.

Thanks.

... pre WWII Hall of Famers.

Condition is not real important. Only cards with colorful portraits. No B&W cards. T207's are in my book "colorful", but that is about as far as I go. I know that this will cause many of you to wonder about the contents of my skull, but the fact is B&W cards don't get my blood flowing.

I need (want?) M116 cards of each. Anything vg or better. Prefer SGC graded; will accept PSA SCD too. Raw is ok with the proviso that the card has to grade or is returnable. I'd also be interested in candy cards of either guy that have the same pose as their T206 cards and are based on photos (i.e., not to garish). Also, as always, 1928 Exhibit PCL (esp. Reese and Averill), Zeenuts HOFers, OJ boxers, high grade T boxing cards.

I have and am willing to part with in trade: various T HOFers, 1950's-1960's HOFers, basketball cards, boxing cards.

Anyone wanna trade?

I agree with Jay's comments/suggestions a few posts above, and would also ask that whoever starts the new thread include a disclaimer, such as:

***..ALL transactions are done at your own peril. The Network 54 folks, nor Elliot, guarantee any transaction, in any way, for any reason. ALL TRANSACTIONS are done under the premise of caveat emptor. (if it's good for ebay it must be good here)...also.... Just a reminder to everybody that posters in this thread are not screened by me or anybody else with regards to their creditworthiness and/or reliability. Please do your own research before completing any transaction. ******

WANTS: Looking for 1960s Boxing/Wrestling Exhibits, particularly Ray Robinson, Cassius Clay and Rocky Marciano. Looking for cards with nice fronts. Corner/edge wear and back damage is not an big concern.

SELLING: My ebay auctions are linked below. No baseball cards, but I'm confident that you won't find 60 year old Ted William's fingernail file anywhere else.

Sorry I have been bad about forgetting my email address...policeman Jay

I sent a list of four t206 anomalies to some people who I know collect them: Murphy horizontal missing ink on half the card, Killian with half a number printed at the back bottom, Snodgrass batting with background variant pattern (similar to OBAKs), and Stark miscut top to bottom with part of another card on bottom (very slight). Images available on request.

I also still have the Newsboy John Ward cabinet(arms folded version), price lowered to $1,650 -(exceptional front, clipping and stamps on back from use as press photo by Culver).

Also, I put the first 1872 Boston cdv on ebay (Birdsall), and others are still available. I have sold several cards as a result of this thread and appreciate Elliot's diligence in maintaining it as a pleasant and useful alternative to ebay.

Does anyone collect/read Baseball Digest?

I have 25 issues between 1964 and 1973. Covers feature Mantle, Maris, Mays, (2) Seaver, (2) Koukax, Clements, plus other HoF. All are in Vg condition, some better, few little less.

First email gets them for FREE!!!! All I ask is when you receive them to send me a check for the exact cost of postage.

A bit of self-promotion: I'm going to part with my E94 overprint of Joe Lake on eBay. The listing opens tonight (5/11) at 10:30pm ET (the rest of you can figure the time difference) with a BIN of $1500. For the less adventurous, the opening price is only $99.99 and there's no reserve.

Scans are on my website here: http://www.t207.com/lake.htm.

Hello all,

I have a group of 17 T-206s for sale that I have decided to post here before I explore other options (i.e. e-bay). Cards are mostly vg/ex with a few vg's and a few ex's mixed in. All of the cards are relatively clean with nice coloring. Please e-mail me at angyale@att.net for front/back scans, a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with the players, conditions, descriptions, and prices. I prefer to sell as a group (and will give a discount), but I will break them up if its worthwhile for me. Thanks,

Eric Angyal

looking for vintage photos of the Brooklyn Dodgers and photos taken at Ebbet's Field. I'm not looking for either Wire Photos or official "team sets" sold at the parks, etc. Am also interested in these for the NY and SF Giants, Yankees, Indians, Milwaukee Braves, Red Sox, and Cardinals. Am also interested in vintage (10s- 50's) photos and photo baseball postcards.

I have a T205 Drum back I am looking to sell
The card is of David Shean on the Rustlers. Card is graded by GAI a 2.5. Some corner wear to the front but the important back is very nice.
Please e-mail me at jperry@nyc.rr.com if you are interested and would like to see a scan.

Unfortunately, I must part with my Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, and Bill Dickey 3 image newspaper signed photo. The total size is about 5*8. All three (In Yankees uniforms) have signed the newspaper photo in black fountain pen - all autographs grade 8-9's. For a complete description, multiple scans, and price, please email me...

For all you E97 collectors I have placed a group of E97s on eBay including both Color and Black/White cards of Cy Young.

My ebay ID is cleverly disguised as my email address: "petecld@earthlink.net"

Let's start a new thread on June 1/03 titled June /03 Buy/Sell/Trade thread (catchy title, huh ). Whoever starts the thread please remember to include the appropriate disclaimer for the thread, or I'll have no choice but to delete the post and you will lose your top billing.
