Default Remember?? Beckett Guide Funny Cards?

Ok, so my son and I were going through some binders today looking for some old pages of '73T stars to upgrade a set with, and came across some relics from my younger days... He's 7 and got a kick out of them, and they brought back some memories.

Anyone else remember in the Beckett Monthly magazines in the 80's - early 90's when they would have a page dedicated to funny cards that readers had sent in?
I'm sure these were some of my intended submissions, but never got around to it...
Excuse the humor level, as I was about 10 or 11 at the time, I'd estimate. Apologies to Mr. Rose for a particularly cutting example at his expense...

Without the collecting culture around that time, I wonder how many of us aged GenX'ers would be Vintage collectors now though. Credit to Beckett for being a part of fueling that.

Ha! Those were great, nice work. Yeah, I used to enjoy checking those out in Beckett back in the day.
