Roger-
What a beautiful array of NY Giants cards. My favorite is the Thomson card. Aside from being a neatly composed image, complete with the American flag, Bobby Thomson had just put his name into eternal baseball history a few months before, and he is a mensch to boot. He is one of my great baseball heroes.

Koslo, ready to fire one across the plate. I must say all of the Giants cards look pretty nice though.

They all look nice. Tough to pick one. I am going with Sal "The Barber" Maglie. Probably just delivered some chin music. I also agree that Thomson in a proud moment after the "shot heard round the world" is a good choice. Great team!

Where's Herman Franks? Oh, right. He's "doing something for Durocher" in the clubhouse involving a telescope...

As I just acquired one, I'm going to go with the Irvin. Love that sky blue-and-batting cage background.

Willie Mays because he is one of my all time favorites ( and I need to get that card !! ) but also the Thompson because of what else was said above about his immortality !! The back of the Branca says 'experts agree it was a good pitch' in reference to the famous hit. Here you go-

Wes Westrum. Great pose, love the furled brow--the card almost looks 3-D to me.
