1942 Team Signed New York Giants Team Photo baseball (is it facsimile signed)?

I have a question regarding whether this 1942 New York Giants Team photo is actually signed or if it is a facsimile. I have looked at it and I am unsure, but I have had 2 others look at it that I trust and they believe it to be authentic. I would like to ask the board and all your wisdom on your opinion. The link is the best pic that I could get to upload but if you would like a fuller scan then shoot me your email address and I will email you one. Thanks for your opinions in advance. I am not knowledgable of when facsimiles started on team photos.

quite often the back of the photo will give some clues as well. if it was indeed hand signed, there may be some "indentations" showing from the pen pressure.
