Default New guy first post....

Hi guys. I have been lurking for awhile reading a lot of posts and enjoying everyone's collections. This is a very cool site!

I grew up collecting cards and then got away from it through my high school days. I ended up giving away my collection through the years. I really didn't miss it much to be honest. Then one evening my brother (who is a member here, Harliduck) came by my house with a stack of 73's. He said they were duplicates from the set he was going for an thought I would enjoy getting back into it and that I would like to go for my birth year set. I thought sure why not knowing that deep down they would just sit up on my closet shelf and collect dust. Boy was I wrong! I started thumbing though them after he left and I felt like I was that same kid again opening up packs of cards in the 70's! Needless to say I was hooked again! I just recently completed the 1973 set (actually my #569 Walt Alston is in transit as I type this) and I just finished up the 1965 set as well. I just received this card yesterday to complete it.

I am now working on the 59's, 61's and 54 Bowmans and loving every minute of it!

Thanks for reading!

Jason
