Default Joe Jackson?

Posted By: Jeff Prizner

Does the guy in the front look like a VERY young Joe Jackson at all to anyone else? I know he played with a couple of South Carolina (SC on the uniform) teams before New Orleans.

Yes, probably wishful thinking on my part and chances are slim but I honestly think it does looks somewhat like him. Even has his hat tilted off to the right like I've seen in so many other Jackson pics, plus very similar eyes, nose, ears, lips and chin.

Thoughts? Thanks!

I agree, it does look like him. Also, he did play for South Carolina teams before New Orleans.

Matt,

I realized that, but the ears do not look alike to me. I do, however, think there is a strong resemblance.

Jackson was 6'1". The guy in the picture looks about 5'9". But there is a slight similarity in the face.

I would say that it is not Joe Jax, based entirely on the shape of the left ear.

I actually had to do a double take myself when you said Cicotte though. That's why I went and pulled a pic for us to see.
