Default Help with info on Rawlings Boyer/B. Robinson Glove Box

Hi All:

I am involved in a trade where I have more for the guy than he has for me. He is looking for things to throw into the deal to gauge my interest.

I know NOTHING about glove collecting or glove box collecting.

He is offering this 1965 (?) Rawlings MVP glove box with Brooks Robinson and Ken Boyer pictured on the box.

It appears there are a few creases etc on the box. Please take a look at the photos and LMK your thoughts on if I should pick up the box, and an idea of the value.

If I do include it in the trade I would be looking to move it myself down the road.

Any info/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Fred

Its a rare box.. obviously condition is off. I would think 100-200 in that condition.. but I imagine if someone really needs maybe even more.

Default B. Robby/Boyer

A Rawlings glove was made to commemorate the two 3rd baseman who won the MVP in '64. A premium 8X10, a booklet showing Brooks and Ken, potato chip clip, print ads among other items that coincide with this item. As stated i's a pretty rare item that comes along every now and then and since it's a glove box is condition sensitive. I would think along the same lines as between 100-200 as a value on this particular box due to condition. Since I collect Brooks I know it's worth at least 100 since I'd pay that for it.

Nice piece; if you do the trade let us know.

Default Rawlings glove box

Hi Guys.

Thanks for your input.

Yes, I have completed the trade.

Now I will be looking to trade it soon.

I have a VERY ECLECTIC wantlist that does not include gloves or GU stuff.

If interested in the box PM me and ask for my wantlist.

Thanks,

Fred
