Default 1957 Topps Checklist error

In putting my '57 set together, I have come to the conclusion the checklists are the toughest subset to put together. There are 4 checklists with each having a variation. Bazooka / Blony.

In checklist 2 / 3 they list C. Maxwell as card 205 (correctly) AND as card 255!

On checklist 3 / 4 this error has been corrected in capitol letters! C. SILVERA

Tom,
I totally agree. I have been looking for the last of the 8 checklists I need - the 4/5 Blony at a reasonable price, with no luck. That will finish the set for me.
I have a spare Checklist 3/4 Bazooka f/g I can offer in partial trade for anyone who can help.

Default 1957 cl

Agree, they were tough and expensive

63 -every 63 CL also has a variant due to being DPs

I still need checklist 4 / 5, either Blony or Bazooka to complete the entire 1957 set. As you state, the prices are crazy! The same with the Lucky Penny card. However, I was patient and found a really nice one for $50.00. I guess there is some luck there after all! As for the contest cards, July 19th can be a problem, however, deals are out there.

Default There are

Versions of the lucky penny insert. Thicker cardboard and a slightly smaller one on very thin paper

on vacation at the moment if i remember when i get home i will try to post a scan of each next to each other. Hard to tell thickness on a pic but you can definitely see the smaller size.
