Default Sports Cards Shows --- Are they gone forever ?

Posted By: Alan

Not sure if this has been discussed, but whatever happened to the large (150+ dealers) sports card shows (other than the National)? I'm not talking about the mall shows that have 5-10 dealers selling beanie babies, pokomon, celebrity photos, etc,... - I mean the nice, large shows... I used to love to see the dealers, ask them how they're doing, how's the show been, what new stuff they got, upcoming shows, meeting other collectors, etc,...
Is ebay & the auction houses the way it is always going to be ? Will the big shows ever come back ?????

Thanks.
Alan

The big shows aren't dead just yet.
Outside of the National, ya still have the 2 Chicago Sportfests, the 4 Fort Washingtons, then add Pittsburgh, Chantilly, Richmond, Boston and some of the Tri Star shows, they are out there, Just not in the abundance of 5-10 years ago...jay

Is the San Fran Labor Day weekend show gone?

Jay

I like to sit outside drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.
