I'm not an expert, but this site says Ruth's last appearance in Uniform was earlier.

I found your photo in a 1943 newspaper with the following caption:

During the "Tableau of Yesterday" of the giant war bond jubilee at the Polo Grounds, New
York, old-timers of baseball trotted out on the diamond. They, are, left to right, front row "Hans" Wagner; Frankie Frisch, Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson and Tris Speaker back row, Duffy Lewis, Eddie Collins, Roger Bresnahan, Connie Mack, who managed the team, Umpire Bill Klem, Red Murray and George Sisler.
