Default Centering

Great centering! Wow, you just don't see that very often on those 68s

Just in from the 'bay, a 1971 Topps Extra Glossy prototype, referenced by Bob Lemke in his Standard Catalog blog a while back: http://boblemke.blogspot.com/2010/08...fs-are-11.html

You can see the hazing at the top of the card referred to in Bob's post.

Supposedly 70 Kellogg proofs, they are blank backed, the McCarver has
parallel lines in pencil traced on it.

The '74 Deckle Edge cards exist but are a lot harder to find than the older issues.

Default 1974 Deckle

The 74 Deckle set can be finished 4 different ways...grey back deckle, white back deckle, grey back undeckled proof and and white back undeckled proof. I am 7 white deckle backs short of having it 3 ways. My proof set is mixed. They are tougher than the 69s, but doable. The 69 proof sheets ( from 68) are tougher yet

Picked these up as part of a collection I bought. Alot of 85-92 cards, but these were included(the reason I bought it) along with some basketball ones posted. There were also 7 checklists from the 60s, but I didn't think you guys would want to see those. I wish the Schmidt(or Cey card as my dad says since he is a Dodgers and Cey fan) card was not completely off center. But overall I was pleased to add these to my collection.
