If someone will help point out a Chase w/Trophy card that isn't too expensive I will buy it and donate it to the winner, for keeping during the year, until the next winner next year....(unless he/she wins again).

I don't personally have any interest in any of thesen type pools as I don't care for current sports too much....except I still like to play sports myself .

ps... I just saw where the trophy card was found......perfect!! Good luck to everyone who plays.

Hoping for Syracuse to have some "bounce-back" in them! Tourney looks wide open to me!

Should be a fun tournament this year. I would like to give the winner this T206 Lake for their collection. Just PM me if you are the winner.

Default Behind the Scene...

Hey There Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know...
I had sent the card to Scott the year before last. I ran the Tourney that year. The winner from the past year sent me the Card in order for me to send it onto SGC, We/The board thought it to be a Good Idea(& I Still do!) to make an effort for Re~slabing the card into a Solid SGC holder with a Net54 NCAA Title on it. There was an issue with the Lettering(time had passed enough, imo) So, I just sent the Card onto Scott so he wouldn't be without his Trophy Card to much longer.

Present Day... After Pete PM'd & FB Scott, I thought it would be helpful so PM'd Scott, just to see if I could help in any way? Scott, I believe had since moved, and Scott had thought that he sent the winner the Trophy Card before he Moved!
Scott, with Sincere Apologies, had emailed me back with what had happened. I Truly believe that this was just Life getting in the way, as we all know... that sometimes it will do that.

Scott has Always been a Grand Ole' Lad.... & I for one am glad that we're all back on track!!!

Pete, "Thanks a Bunch" for coming to Our Rescue ;- )

"Let the Games BegiN!!!"

As Always...

Default Dayton!

And now I remember why I hate March madness so much. First Game and first loss. If Buffett is giving his billion away, it will probably be to someone in Dayton Ohio.

I don't follow basketball at all. So none of my brackets are the same because I just didn't care. Yet when I did the billion dollar one I tried to put in some thought... that back fired. I should have used the bracket I have here with you guys because that one did have Dayton. haha.

I'm just wondering if anyone survived all those upsets yesterday with minimal damage. If Louisville had gone down, I would have just tossed my sheet in the trash.

You can follow everyone's progress by clicking on the link in the original post. My day started horribly with that Buckeye loss, especially since I had them beating Syracuse in the next round. Luckily, I only missed one other game, when that St Joe's big man allowed a UConn rebound, putback and foul in the last minute of regulation instead of owning the glass and grabbing the freakin ball.

Today's 8-9 matchups should all be tough, but hopefully the rest of the games will mostly follow the script.

I'm in one of the bunches tied for #2, but will quickly drop like a rock as one of my Final Four teams (Ohio State) is already gone.

Dead on, St. Joe's blew it. I'm falling fast, even Villanova gave me a scare until they decided to stop playing Milwaukee's game.

I'm down near the bottom, but still have a chance. I did not have Duke in the final four, so I'm good, as long as Michigan State. Louisville and Arizona keep winning. Hopefully I'll pick up some points in the 2nd round….

It looks like we already have a winner here since no one got the championship game correct. Amazing how quickly I dropped from at one point tied for #2 to now #92, very nearly dead last in the pool.
