Default Late 1960's Topps Football Vending Question?

I was hoping someone here might be able to educate me on this.
Can anyone here tell me what a unseached 500 count Topps Vending Football Box should look like from the late 1960's?

I recently picked up a 2nd Series 1968 Topps Football Vending Box that had been seached when I received it.
Still there are a lot of beautiful cards in it.

I was just wondering as there are 87 cards in the second series. Card #'s 133-219.

Would there have been roughly 6 cards of each player in the box originally?

Or is it more random than that, say 4 of one card and 8 of another?

Also, would the cards all have been randomly mixed or would there have been
say 5 or 6 Roman Gabriel's in a row and if so, would they have been in sequential order?

Just curious if anyone out there has ever had the opportunity to bust vending of this time frame?

Thanks for any info guys .... I appreciate it!
