Do you display your collection at all ? If so I would love to see how you display all your cards. You must have an amazing collection.

Nice pick up! There are 27 different T218 boxers with the Tolstoi back so you must be getting close to completing it. Its tough subset to complete!

Default Card Display?

I scan all of my boxing cards front and back to a 500 gig external hard drive.

I use a Epson V300, flat bed scanner at it's highest resolution.

My card files on the external hard drive have files for each card catagory. i.e. T218, T220, etc.

I did this after loseing scans I kept on my laptop after many computer crashes.

We've had some great discussions on T218's and especially the Tolstoi cards in the past, like these:

http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=111405

http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=146704

But I always love discussing these cards and will join in with some Tolstoi scans when I get home from work tonight - hopefully we can keep it going with some good scans and talk!

There was a thread from 2009 where Adam suggested these multiples for some of the tougher series related to T218:
=====
T219 Red Cross 30x-50x
T218 Tolstoi 10x-20x
T219 Miners Extra 5x-7x
C52 3x-5x
T219 Honest Long Cut 2x-3x
T218 Hassan/Mecca 1x
=====

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Has any of this changed since then?

I sold some raw C52's a few months back on eBay and got prices probably more like 5x-10x the regular T218 prices for some very rough cards, but I know the market is very thin and lightly traded on these, so it's hard to really establish.

Great Jeffries card! I was the underbidder and thought when the lot was like $14 with 30 seconds left, that it may have successfully flown under the radar, but it appears at least you saw as well! No back scan either on the listing, so you needed an eagle eye to find it!

There were some Tolstoi's that ended recently on Ebay for some pretty strong prices:

O'Brien $67.66 [rough]
Goodman $51.00
Johnson $79.88 [really rough]
Loughrey $45.67

Full Disclosure: I bought the O'Brien for my set.

I also consigned two SGC 10 beaters to Sterling but they sold for only $23 each. Guess I should have popped those onto Ebay.
