Default Jack Morris Topps '82 Print Error

Hi all,

I stumbled across a Jack Morris card I had at home. I noticed the printing was off. I did a search to see if this might be worth something but oddly enough nothing comes up. Plenty comes up about the "1982 TOPPS BLACKLESS #450 JACK MORRIS "C" SHORT PRINT ERROR VARIATION".

This is not the same error, it is a misprint that cuts off part of the intended left side of the card leaving and unintended mark on the right side which is actually the "All-Star" icon for that set of cards.

Does anyone have any info on this card? I would imagine this is actually more of an error even then the one listed above. I am surprised I couldn't find anything on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! pics below.

Looks like a miscut, nothing more. These use to be considered to have little to no value, but I've seen a recent trend of increased demand lately.

I have been collecting these kind of oddball cards for 25+ years. The popularity like the prices go up and down. For me this card carries a small premium. If you find someone that collects Morris or error cards you could get around $5 for it in my opinion.

It is not just a miscut there is also a printing error. This was one of the first few sheets that went through the press before the paper was aligned.

Default 1982 Blackless

I was able to put together a full Blackless set and the Morris is one of the toughest cards to find with no black ink showing

Default Morris

Here is the Morris blackless...and an example of the transition as the black ink ran out during a run(s). The blacklless cards showed up in packs. It appears most A sheet cards in NY and most of the tougher B and C cards in Michigan. Because of the transition cards, finding a full set of completely blackless cards is tough
