Default Fred Merkle T205 Original Photo?

I'm looking for the portrait photo used to produce the T205 Fred Merkle. I'm assuming it was shot by Paul Thompson but can't seem to find the photo online. I've got a Type 1 in our archive that I think is very close but if anyone has access to the image that is confirmed to be the one used, I'd love to see it .

After the Merkle photo started the avalanche, I've discovered almost 70 more portraits in our archive used for the T205 series. I'm still updating the album below but there's plenty here to feast your eyes on currently:

At some point I'll put together a higher quality album. For now I just put it together simply as a quick reference for myself. Definitely looks better on a phone screen than on a desktop computer.

Default T205s

Excellent work. Love it! Interesting how the T205 artist smoothed out some wrinkles and rough edges on those faces!

That's a great photo. Does anyone have a photo of photographer Paul Thompson himself? It would be nice to get a face with the name.

Oh but it gets better. Using the checklist from the T205 set I just finished my alphabetical search through our photo archive yesterday. Final count is 84 Paul Thompson portraits that appear in the series. They vary in size from 4x6ish all the way up to 8x10.

That's amazing Andrew!! I wish I had an archive like yours! I can't wait to see more pictures! If you ever want to sell a few, keep me in mind.

Album has been updated with some better pics. 78 different cards total at the moment with six more I’ll be adding next week.

By the way, if you are viewing on a desktop computer, the default album format makes the images a bit distorted. You’ll see three format options in the upper right corner. Choose the middle one for an optimal viewing experience :
