Default 1953B color..whats that ?

Found this on back of one of my 53B color cards..I didnt think they had stickers of any kind around that yr.. It quite thin..maybe from scrapbook..but its looks like a card or sticker of some sort.. . Does anyone have an idea

Kind of hard to offer an opinion without actually feeling or palpating the thing. In the scan, it just appears to be some sort of paper damage, as from tape or glue. But, anyone could have stuck a sticker on it in the past 60 years, I guess.
