Default Vintage card shop(s) in Cooperstown?

Posted By: DRY

Hi all,

I am heading to Cooperstown for the first time on Thursday, and was wondering if there were any vintage card shops in the area, or vintage baseball attractions outside of the Hall of Fame? Any other recommendations of things to see?

Thanks in advance!

Default Vintage card shop(s) in Cooperstown?

I revisited Cooperstown two summers ago. Toured the Hall and had some time to look around in the card shops which are in close walking distance from the Hall. There was really only one shop that had any interesting vintage memorabilia for sale. Overpriced of course, but interesting. The card shops were all tourist traps bordering on fraud - phony autographs galore. No graded cards whatsoever - plenty of trimmed and doctored cards though. But I didn't care...the trip to the Hall is what I came there for and as always thoroughly enjoyed it.
