Pat, rarely do you get the opportunity nowadways to see cards you've never seen before. The Alpha Engraving Jennings and McGraw are incredible. Thanks for posting them.

Patrick, your collection is in a class by itself. What a treat to see those ancient beauties, the Ryder Young, the K Bats Ewing, the Alpha Engr. McGraw, just to name a few. Makes my shoebox full of D304s and Goudeys look like shiny stuff in comparison. Appreciate the informative write-ups, too. Thanks for doing this.

Pat- Not to take away from Brian, who is a dear friend, but: to make the site what it is, first you have to get the cards.

Patrick,

Very impressive. I'm glad your focus is on the 19th century! There is something to be said about quality over quantity.

Thanks for sharing,

Patrick

Patrick:

As a collector of the earliest card that I can find/afford of each HOF'er, I can't imagine acquiring almost any of the cards that you have on display on your website. You have a fantastic collection!!! Any advice on how I can go about trying to acquire those types of cards?

Not much more can be said about those cards, but I am always very appreciative when people share the truly spectacular stuff.

simply amazing stuff, really enjoyed seeing some of your collect on display at last year's National.

I thought about trying to steal it, but the stuff is so rare it would be obvious where it came from!
