Is that a sharpie? Vance died in 1961 and the sharpie was introduced in 1964, so............

Default No way is it a Sharpie

No it is not. Appears to have been signed with something other than a Sharpie. I have gotten thousands of in person autos (tons with Sharpie) so I have some experience in that regard.

Peace, Mike

Default Dazzy

I wouldn't personally be comfortable with this signature of Dazzy Vance.
It has too many inconsistencies with others that I own and have seen, FWIW.
Here is a signed Dazzy Vance 3 x 5 from my personal collection that I am quite certain is legit for reference purposes.

Perhaps others will weigh in with their thoughts....

Sometimes I want to bang my head against the wall.
You bought it and then you came here to ask if it is good.
Seems to me like you did things backwards.

If you bought this piece as a piece of memorabilia you should be happy, but if you purchased this for the autograph you should be disappointed. It does not match an authentic Vance in many ways. I have 2 Vance autographs from different time periods , and even checking PSA autograph facts and there are no similarities between yours and verified Vance autos . Do your research before you buy !!!!
After all is said maybe you have a never seen signature variation for Vance....but I do not think so. I would not have bought it.
