Baseball Card Collecting Hobby, Old Stuff
One of the good things about the forum is that other members, and friends, get to know what you collect. Most know I collect old hobby related stuff about the hobby. Very little of it is conserved, restored, trimmed, bleached or slabbed. Then when said members see something you collect they alert you and you are able to add it to your collection. I have alerted a lot of members when I see something they collect and are on the lookout for. Such goes collecting and some of the fun of it (at least for me). The other day Bryan L (hey Bryan) alerted me to this 1945 postcard on the bay. I ended up nabbing it and am very appreciative of the heads up. Thanks again, Bryan.
We should all be glad we don't take stagecoaches to shows or send postcards to other collectors for what we are looking for (though I guess AH's still do it, but that is usually for consignments.)
