Default Forsch

Bob was a neighbor of ours in Wildwood Missouri, just west of St Louis in the 1990-1995 time frame. I served on a HOA with his wife. Very nice people. I have his auto on a 1984 Topps Blackless card.

Gibson is recognized as the best Cardinals pitcher ever ( rightfully so), but he never had a no hitter...Forsch had 2

I just picked up the Matty Alou 1967 Punch Out pose variation on ebay the other day ( batting helmet looking right)

Al, I know that what you meant to say is, "Gibson only had 1 no hitter (scorecard below) while Forsch had 2 (scorecard from his second, below)"

Interesting scorecards. Did Clemente not play during Gibson's No-hitter?
Unless I'm missing something, the second scorecard is from brother Kens no-no.
RIP Bob Forsch and Matty Alou
