Default Need advice/help with unopened 1977 Wiffle Ball Case

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum but I'm sure there are very knowledgeable members who could help me. I have been in possession of an unopened case of regulation size wiffle balls for about 10 years. I am certainly no expert, but based on what I can find on the web, I think it is from 1977. The individual ball boxes each have a disc inside. The case (and the 12 balls/boxes inside) are in pristine condition. I am thinking of listing this on ebay but I don't know if this is the best route. I would think an item like this is quite rare, but I don't know the level of interest out there.

Any advice or comments would be appreciated because I know there are very knowledgeable members out there. Thank you. P.S.-I tried including a photo

Someone will lecture you very soon that those are actually a 1978 issue.

There really isn't any premium value attached to the boxes with the cards in them over the cards themselves . The empty display box could have value to player collectors.

Your best bet might be to pull all the die cut cards out and sell them individually, sell the empty display box, and then play a mean game of wiffle ball with the balls.

And yes, those are from 1978.

Is that the outer box with a Steve Garvey disc on it? if so, I am interested in the outer box at a minimum, empty or full. If you list it on ebay, please include "Garvey" in the description so I don't miss it!!

MrMopar, I don't see Garvey on the outside of the box. It has Morgan, Rice, Seaver and Luzinski.

You asked about this box in another Wiffle thread, and, yes I believe I won it over you several years ago.

And one did, a very nice one at that. I lost again!

You didn't happen to win an upgrade by chance, did you David?

No. And I somehow missed the auction.

Can you provide a link?
