Default Ned Hanlon question

Posted By: GMLinTX

I am looking for any information linking Ned Hanlon to organized baseball in the state of Iowa. I have looked everywhere online, and consulted multiple reference books in search of this information, and have come up empty at every turn. This board looked like the right place to ask the question, as the baseball knowledge around here seems to be off the charts. Thanks in advance.

Default Ned Hanlon question

Posted By: Joe_G.

Now that's a specific question that I cannot directly respond to. I know Ned spent a majority of his playing days with Detroit (played every year of the National Leagues team existence, 1881 - 1888). You might find some info by contacting a fellow Detroit enthusiast, Troy Kirk. He has studied the team and it's players for many years.
